UNILAK Advances Agricultural Innovation Through UPLIFT-Ag in 2024

In 2024, UNILAK advanced agricultural innovation through the UPLIFT-Ag project. The university reformed its curriculum, introduced the Living Lab model, and launched green start-up incubation. With over 22 new partners, UNILAK is driving sustainable agribusiness growth and preparing students with real-world skills.

Advancing Agriculture Education, Industry Linkages, and Community Impact in 2024: UPLIFT-Ag at Taita Taveta University

In 2024, Taita Taveta University (TTU) made big strides in shaping the future of agriculture. From building industry partnerships to revamping curricula, empowering staff, and engaging local farmers. TTU is equiping graduates and stakeholders with the skills and tools needed to transform agriculture in Kenya and beyond. 

The UPLIFT-Ag project has brought together 9 HEIs from 4 countries in Africa, partnering with 3 HEIs in Europe and a wide range of non-HEI actors in the different countries
